Some Tid Bits About Me
Personally
I am a native Buffalonian who grew up alongside the Elmwood Village area. I enjoy city living and the freedom of walking to many local destinations. I also enjoy hibernating during the cold wintery months with a stack of good books and movies. When the short season of warm weather arrives, I cherish creating peaceful places filled with flowers and green textures. I also love to experience the uniqueness of newly visited places when I travel.
To keep active, I look forward to playing tennis, swing dancing, Jazzercis-ing, practicing yoga, cooking new recipes, and gardening. I also enjoy watching a good play, hearing a good joke and spending time with family and friends.
Professionally
In my professional life I have always sought to improve my skills, gain knowledge and be an asset to people I work for or with. In doing so I have taken several personality/profile tests to better understand how I work and what I naturally do best. The findings of some of these tests are below.
- Gallup StrengthsFinder: Top 5 Themes –
Strategic, Individualization, Achiever, Relator, Responsibility - Myers Briggs Type Indicator –
ENTJ - Fundamental Interpersonal Relations Orientation-Behavior –
25 (Overall Interpersonal Needs: medium level rating)
For those of you who have taken these tests, you will have some idea of what these results mean. For those of you who haven’t taken them or even heard of them, I would suggest looking them up. They lend much insight into a person’s behavior and personality. By gleaning this information you can help improve your leadership style and working relationships both on and off the job. It’s really quite interesting.
